Breakfast at Casa Anglicana
The Camino Chaplaincy provides pastoral care, spiritual support and sacraments to pilgrims entering Santiago de Compostela. As Anglicans we welcome all baptised to receive the eucharist with us.
You may see our chaplains greeting pilgrims around town, at Casa Anglicana del Peregrino, and at San Félix. While seasons and schedules vary, when a chaplain is on duty, we aim to offer Morning Prayer at Casa Anglicana and a late afternoon (normally at 16:00/ 4:00 PM ) Daily Eucharist at San Félix.
Historians date the original church to the 9th century. Damaged during the Moorish invasions, it was rebuilt around 1122.
Look for us at Casa Anglicana and The Church of San Félix (known affectionately as “San Fiz”) is located in the old city, near the Mercado Abastos, about a five-minute, 450-meter walk from Casa Anglicana.
From mid-March 2026 to late October, a volunteer chaplain is on duty.
